Alex Wagner is the general manager of Wagner Ford here in Carey. She is also the owner operator of Wagner Transportation in Fostoria.
Alex is a 2007 graduate of Saint Wendelin high school. She majored in automotive marketing and management at Northwood University, she split her time between the midland Michigan campus and the West Palm Beach Florida campus. She was a sales person at Sam Galloway Ford in Fort Myers, Florida, before returning home to Ohio to become a sales person and Internet manager at Wagner Ford in 2011. After learning all about the different parts of the business, Alex became the general manager of Wagner Ford in 2013. The mission of Wagner Ford, here in Carey, and Wagner Mazda, in Fostoria, is to use low overhead and low operating costs to offer customers the best possible price on any new or used vehicle. Alex is a strong leader and helps her team achieve this goal by providing competitive pricing, quality, and friendly service at a low price! The dealership offers an extensive line of new Ford cars, trucks, SUVs, and crossovers as well as used vehicles, RVs, electric vehicles and commercial trucks.
In 2014, Alex started Wagner transportation, which focuses on corporate transportation for Marathon Petroleum in Findlay and Owens Corning in Toledo. They also provide private event transportation in the Northwest Ohio area.
She is also the owner and property manager for Maggie Mae properties, and over this past summer renovated two residential locations in Findlay.
Alex is involved locally with the community foundation organizations that help provide grants over $36,000 annually to local charitable organizations. This year she served on the grants committee that helped bring the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to Hancock County, distributing thousands of books to local preschoolers. She is also involved in the Findlay Young Professionals through the Hancock County United Way.
In her (little) free time she enjoys taking tennis lessons and going on walks with her Westie Maggie! She also loves to spend as much time as she can with her family, especially her 9-month-old nephew.
Alex is grateful for how friendly she finds the community of Carey, and how welcoming they have been to her, her business, and her family.
